Kintsugi - Practitioners Kit - Gold 0.4g & Silver 1g
We're thrilled to introduce our higher-tier addition to the kintsugi kit lineup, developed in collaboration with skilled Japanese artisans. The Practitioners Kit is meticulously curated for individuals seeking comprehensive tools to dive deeper into the intricacies of this time-honored craft.
This kit, tailored for patient artist inclined minds and practiced repairers, provides premium materials, including our renowned 23.44K Gold Powder and Pure Silver Powders, pre-blended lacquer, and top-of-the-line kintsugi brushes. Crafted with precision, it offers specialized tools that enable even the most delicate repairs—an ideal choice for those dedicated to exploring the profound artistry of Kintsugi.
The Practitioners Kit simplifies the process with pre-blended black and red urushi, eliminating the need for raw urushi mixing and pigment powders. This pre-mixed lacquer ensures a smooth application, emphasizing crucial brush strokes for visible repair layers. Red urushi imparts a golden tone, while black urushi complements a silvery tone, depending on the precious metal powder used.
Furthermore, this kit offers diverse methods for applying precious metal powders, featuring delicate powdering brushes and traditional bamboo mesh tubes, complemented by the use of Mawata silk for a refined finish.
Additionally, the kit includes a premium diamond file, essential for precise ceramic edge preparation. These tools, sourced from a renowned Japanese company, guarantee high-quality results. Various binding materials are also provided to fill missing ceramic fragments. Paired with finely crafted Japanese artisan hand-brushes, these tools ensure unparalleled control and accuracy, enriching the essence of Kintsugi artistry within this comprehensive kit.
This kit includes 0.4g of our premium 23.44K gold powder (*Blended For A Bright Shine) and 1g of silver powder, providing ample materials for a variety of kintsugi repairs.
